Hand-Poured Watercolor Pan

Velvety and sumptuous, Prune is a rich warm plum that brings depth, elegance, and quiet drama to the palette. Reminiscent of ripe fruit and aged wine, it unfolds in washes with subtle burgundy undertones and beautifully nuanced transitions. Delicate applications reveal a soft stained-glass luminosity, while layered passages deepen into luxurious shadows full of character.

Hand-poured in small batches, each pan is made for effortless rewetting, responsive handling, and rich color development. Prune shines in moody florals, heirloom fruit studies, expressive portraiture, and richly layered passages where warmth and depth take center stage.

A half pan of artist grade, lightfast watercolor. This rich mineral has a saturatedl hue, and naturally beautiful granulation that can be layered from thick to thin. Each pan is hand poured to exacting traditional recipes and techniques in our studio using the highest quality earth pigments, and natural watercolor binding medium made from distilled water, honey, glycerine, and the sap of acacia trees.
