Hand-poured watercolor palette
Limited edition

Foliated Flowers is a small batch edition watercolor palette made from singular minerals and pigments.

Each color is handcrafted with care to capture the gentle cycles of nature and the quiet generosity of flowers.

Protea - soft peachy pink like petals at dawn
Hyacinth - delicate lilac reminiscent of spring blooms
Forkmoss - rich verdant green like moss under the trees
Silk Cotton - warm golden yellow like sunlight through leaves
Nigella - royal deep blue that draws the eye
Siberian Iris - velvety granular black grounded and mysterious

Flowers give fragrance and nectar freely they attract and nourish bees, growing in harmony with sun and rain, and soil.
This palette honors that cyclical rhythm and invites subtle luminous expression in your work.

Limited edition because some pigments are rare and briefly offered.

Perfect for botanical illustrations still life studies or any work that seeks quiet refined color.

Pigments are formulated to emphasize depth, granulation, and restrained luminosity. These colors are responsive, offering subtle variation across washes and layered passages. The palette favors artists attuned to material dialogue and creative exploration.

Materials and Making

Mineral pigments are blended with a natural watercolor binder composed of distilled water, honey, glycerin, and acacia sap. Each pan is poured by hand and allowed to settle according to the studio's rhythm, preserving the individuality of its surface and texture. All colors are lightfast, with naturally occurring granulation and soft reflective qualities where noted.

Wildthorne palettes support the placement of solitary bee nests in protected habitats throughout the Pacific Northwest, extending the studio practice into ecological stewardship.

Made slowly. Intended to be lived with.
