Aurantia Quietis — Field Practice Journal

A limited edition Field Practice journal made for daily observation, writing, and sketching. Designed to be carried, used, and marked over time. Each cover is made from undyed Italian vegetable-tanned leather, left in its natural state. The surface is soft, minimal, and uncorrected, allowing it to change through use.

The leather will gradually develop a patina from handling, light, and movement. No two pieces will age in the same way.

This is a simple, structured cover with no internal pockets or added compartments. It is built to keep attention on the page.

Each journal fits Field Notes and Pocket Moleskine inserts (6 x 8.5 inches when opened laying flat).

Each piece includes a Field Practice Journal leather cover and an elastic closure in your choice of Espresso Brown, Shell Pink, or Cream Beige. Optional sterling silver charms are available here to further personalize your journal.

This is a working object for writing, sketching, and recording what is seen.

Designed to hold a Field Notes–size or Pocket Moleskine notebook (4 x 6 inches).

The leather cover measures approximately 6 x 8.5 inches when fully opened (lay-flat measurement), and folds to fit the 4 x 6 inch insert.

This journal is not A5 size and does not accommodate A5 notebooks.
