Amethyst + Pearl + Silk

A sculptural amulet composed of a freeform baroque pearl suspended upon black nylon cord alongside a faceted gem-grade amethyst of rich violet clarity. A small golden pyrite disc serves as an adjustable slider, allowing the necklace to be worn at varying lengths.

The luminous pearl and deep violet amethyst evoke moonlit water and the shifting tones of the coastline after dusk. The pearl carries subtle tones of pale silver, dawn blue, blush, and warm reflected gold. Suspended upon a dark cord, the composition reflects the quiet rhythm of the night tide—slow-moving, reflective, and ever-changing.

Created during the auspicious conjunction of Venus and Jupiter, the piece carries associations of expansion, beauty, harmony, and quiet abundance.

The pearl moves freely upon the strand while the aquamarine remains anchored in place, creating a subtle shifting relationship between the two forms when worn.
