Bee Orchid is a warm plum hue. A half pan of artist grade, lightfast watercolor. Each pan is hand poured to exacting traditional recipes and techniques in our studio using the highest quality earth pigments, and natural watercolor binding medium made from distilled water, honey, glycerine, and the sap of acacia trees.

A part of our Kestral collection, Bee Orchid is offered as a single pan for the first time.

The Kestrel (also known as the sparrow hawk), is the smallest falcon bird of prey and can be found nesting in our local tree hollows, or perched on fences and wires. Hovering in mid air across open fields they resemble fluttering and floating leaves with their swift beating wings. A collection of handcrafted watercolors in warm and earthy hues that create a lovely mixing palette of natural colors to encapsulate the landscape, flora, and fauna, of the terrain of Kestrel birds.
