A7 Field Journal — Aurantia Quietis

A smaller form, introduced quietly. The A7 Field Journal is designed for nearness and immediacy, a compact space for recording what might otherwise pass unheld.

Made in undyed Italian vegetable-tanned leather, each cover is left in its natural state. The surface is soft and unsealed, designed to shift over time through handling and use, developing a patina unique to its carrying.

There are no internal pockets or added structures—only a continuous surface that holds a notebook and remains open to change.

Inside is a Midori A7 grid notebook, chosen for its balance of structure and openness. At this scale, writing becomes brief: fragments, notes, observations, and passing detail. This format supports a practice of micro-recording, where attention is captured as it happens rather than reconstructed later.

Each piece is finished by hand and offered in limited form.
