Materials: Authentic Turquoise, Sterling Silver
Please note that as these earrings were handcrafted by an artisan silversmith there are variances in the bezel as well as the posts. This showcases the authenticity in craftsmanship of the artist, in contrast to the uniform and homogenous appearance of factory cast jewelry.
Most turquoise jewelry available today is sourced from overseas mines or made from composite materials, where small amounts of the stone are ground, mixed with other substances, and then shaped and polished to mimic genuine turquoise.
These earrings, however, are vintage pieces from a time when Native American artists were still able to source and work with solid turquoise stones, honoring their spiritual meaning and deep cultural significance.

Jewelry for Wildlife
Every Wildthorne watercolor, artifact, or piece of jewelry directly funds the creation of solitary bee nests placed in wild and protected habitats across the Pacific Northwest. These nests offer critical refuge for native bees who face increasing habitat loss.
