artist notes: In ancient lore stepping into a circle of mushrooms -- a faerie ring -- could mean being taken to the Other Lands. Here, time would pass differently and gone but a day you may return and find that a hundred years have passed. mushrooms have long been used in shamanic practice throughout the world. 

the look of this particular shroom is inspired by edible, medicinal, magical and poisonous varieties alike. it doesn't have a precise counterpart in the natural world.

the pendant is entirely 3-dimensional and can be worn either side facing out, each has a slightly different angle and look.

Designer Profile: Naomi Nowak is a Swedish-based artist of Eastern European descent, whose work spans painting, clothing, and jewelry. Her designs reflect a deep dialogue with heritage, sustainability, and transformation. Naomi’s pieces emerge intuitively, blending meticulous detail with a sense of the surreal, informed by meditation, prayer, and a reverence for creative flow.
