:: Labradorite Zuni Owl fetish  ::

A solid piece of teal, blue, and gold Labradorite has been hand-carved on both sides by Zuni artist Kateri Sanchez into a glowing wise Owl. Ribboned with beautiful rolling flashes of gold and azure light this Owl has incredibly beautiful depth and fire. Each tiny feather has been patiently worked and carved, and the edges even have tiny serrations that echo real feathers. With Mother of pearl and inlaid jet eyes, this Owl has a wise and knowing face and a gentle guardian-like energy that would grace any space whether altar, home, or workplace with light and spirit. 

Kateri Sanchez is a member of the well-known Quandelacy family of Zuni carvers. 

Zuni fetish carvings traditionally served ceremonial purposes, each one was revered and thought to hold beneficial blessings to aid their owners. Highly collectible each carving is a unique small sculpture of indigenous art.  

Size is a little over 2 inches in height, and slightly under 2 inches in width.                .
